Key item features
- (6) 6-7oz. Fillets

- Product of Norway
- Each salmon fillet is individually packaged for portion control and to reduce food waste. Each 6 oz to 7 oz package contains approximately 42 grams of high quality protein, >100% of the daily recommended value of both vitamin B-12, important for red blood cells, and Selenium, an important nutrient involved in DNA synthesis, thyroid hormone metabolism, and reproductive health. Flash freezing uses cold temperatures to maintain freshness, preserve nutrients and protect the product from external impurities. The American Heart Association recommends that people include at least two servings of fish per week in their diet (particularly fish high in omega-3s such as salmon).
- Norwegian Salmon is antibiotic-free and non-GMO. Norwegian salmon farmers have topped the Coller FAIRR ranking of the world’s most sustainable protein producers for three years running. According to the Norwegians, it was Norway that introduced Japan to eating salmon raw (Coho salmon generally should be cooked before eating). Today Gourmet ships all products in insulated boxes with either dry ice or frozen gel packs guaranteed to arrive frozen at your doorstep. We utilize a thermal bag as additional protection during the delivery process. Your product will arrive safely or we will replace it.
- As a small, family-owned business, we source the best products we can find, frequently from family-owned businesses across the United States (in this case the world). PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: From Thawed: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove the Salmon from the pouch; place it on the baking sheet on the side with the red stripe in the middle. Bake fish at 400 degrees for 15-22 minutes. Cooking times can vary by oven. It is not necessary to turn fish while baking. Preheat a non-stick skillet on low heat. Remove the salmon from the pouch; place it on a hot skillet on the side with the red stripe in the middle. Sauté for 5 minutes. Flip Salmon over. Cover the pan and cook for 7-11 minutes. Total: 14-16 minutes. Let it stand for 2-3 minutes before serving (salmon will continue to cook silently).
