It is sturdy plastic instead of bisque. But it still has all those little Madame Alexander details. The baby is adorable and her clothes and headband can come on and off. She has a baby bottle and a tricycle she can ride. The price is right, too. This would make a great baby or toddler gift. My baby loves it and it kinda makes up for the Madame Alexander dolls I was gifted as a child but never allowed to play with.
