After weaning, at 6 - 8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. Start a self-feeding program, leaving food in the dish at all times. Feeding amounts should be adjusted as necessary to help your kitten maintain an ideal body condition. FEEDING FOR REPRODUCTION: Purina Cat Chow Naturals provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. FEEDING TIP: Changes in your cat's diet should be made gradually to allow your cat to become accustomed to a new food. My cats Love this dry food, and have from the very beginning. When they tend to get tired of others, they never seem to tire of this one. If I run out, which is rare, you can tell they miss it. The only negative thing to say is, if I buy a large bag and it takes a while to use it, they tend to back off some. I don't know if it looses something or what, but I tend to buy the 7lb. bag mostly. Anyway, this kind is definitely my babies' favorite.

Purina Naturals Original is the ONLY food my Feline children will eat and they eat it well too. I have rescued over 20 cats and everyone of them loved this food. With each one I took to my local rescue center I always took a new bag to donate also. The only reason for 3 stars on Value for Price is the fact that it has more than doubled in price since Covid was unleashed on our country. I am so fed up with Covid being blamed on the criminal costs of grocery items.

my cats love this, they never leave any behind They are indoor cats and are doing well on purina product. I have 3 strays 2 are brother and sister and almost 18 yrs old found them in backyard. Waited to see if Mom would come back, left them alone for a while but she still hadn't returned, so we took them in probably not more than a day or 2 old could'nt leave them. Great affectionate Cats I am glad we did.
