Like most people, we were required to buy a 3 ring binder for school. This one is exactly what we needed. The three metal rings inside are large enough to hold a full pack of paper, dividers, and a pencil case. There are two pockets inside to hold all of his loose worksheets from class as well. On the outside, the front and back both have a clear pocket to put paper inside. His teacher puts a sheet of paper with the class and his name on the front one, and a weekly behavior chart inside the clear pocket on the back. The rings are heavy duty and stay shut, but my son (4th grade) has had no problems opening them when he needs to.

A great price for this multipack since we were purchasing school supplies for five foster children this year, and one inch binders are always on the list after grade 5. (These are always the ones we buy!) There's no annoying label to peel off, easy opening, large capacity and very durable.
