I bought this for the feral cats in my neighborhood . I wanted them to have a safe place to hang out away from predators . It was very easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. I had help moving it after assembly because it's awkward for one person to move. The cats took to it right away. I did cover the front half with a sunscreen just to provide shade. The doors are big enough for the cats, but too small for the pitbulls that sometimes come around. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, and if it goes on sale, I probably will. I love it and it looks great too. It's holding its own in Illinois weather which is saying something good. Buy this, you'll be glad you did.

Overall, this is what I expected. The wood is thin but I knew it wasn't going to be 2x4s. I was able to assemble everything except the roof by myself, needed a second person to put the roof together and on. I did add one more sliding lock to the large door just to ensure nothing could get in and the kitties couldn't get out. The shelves are flimsy and I'll end up reinforcing them, but for now they are holding our two ragdoll cats ok.
