I have the runner at the sliding door entrance. Every time someone steps on it coming in or going out it shifts. When my German shepherd comes inside running, I have to straighten it out. Since purchasing this rug pad, I haven't had to put it back in place. If you are thinking of purchasing this rug pad, it does its job well
