Women Plus Size V Neck Wrap Maxi Dress High Waist Ruffle Summer Casual Dress with Belt Long Sleeve

This fabric pattern is so pretty, but the dress is not at all what was expected. This is not a wrap dress. It has a wrap style top but any semblance of wrap stops there. the entire skirt is of one piece, without so much as a slit. The fabric itself was okay-ish, but definitely not the stretchable knit that I'd thought. The only parts that are stretchable are the elastic in the high waist and at the end of the sleeves. The sleeve itself was too narrow for me to even fully put the dress on myself, to judge it for fit-to-size. Luckily it mostly fits my daughter, who is just one size smaller than myself, but with much smaller upper arms... We will have to alter to take it in a bit for her, as well as shorten the sleeves, that are entirely too long by easily at least 6". Her fingertips are at least 2 inches up inside the sleeve when she holds her hands down at her sides. We will not be returning this, as returns are always a pain and it's possible to still be of use, with alterations, but it WAS NOT of use for the intended wearer or function, and now I'm left still looking for a suitable occasion dress.
