Very sturdy and easy to install with the template that is included. It folds up flat and works great with the 50" TV I have installed. The only downside is the speed that it takes to move and has a faint very high pitched sound as the motor is running. I would recommend this if you are thinking about installing a ceiling mounted TV.

The unique solution for hidden entertainment
This VIVO flip-down mount is a clever solution for anyone trying to maximize their square footage. It gets the TV completely out of your eye-line when not in use. It gave me the freedom to decorate my walls however I wanted because the TV is no longer taking up a permanent spot. It's especially great for tricky spots—I have mine positioned where a wall mount would have blocked a window/closet. It's sturdy, smooth, and honestly, just a really cool way to modernize a room. Highly recommend for anyone with a unique bedroom setup!

This is not an easy installation for starters. the included tools are okay but you will want a stud finder, and a good pencil. the template that comes with it is more of a reference than a exact match in my experience. I was able to hang the mount by my self. What I did was mounted one of the cross bars with a single bolt and used it as a visual mark long with the stud finder to line the second hole up on the studd with the stud finder and then pre drilled the second hole and so on then bolted the mount together. It took me about 6 hours to do the install including doing cable pass thrus and wall fishing the hdmi cable thru the wall. I converted a ceiling fan wiring box into a gfi plug in to have direct power for the mount and tv. The mount works great the remote is a little odd to learn but all and all if you are considering and have a good grasp on being handy I'd say go for it. My tv is a 65 inch tv
