For the cost, this is a good piece. The paint (black) is pretty shiny which lowers the look of the quality, however; the assembly and stability is solid. The drawers are a little touchy so if it's being used in a kids room, durability may be a long term issue. Going to buy another for a college apartment because value vs cost can't be beat.

Yes, it was easy to put together, but the screws for the handle was really quite hard to do the holes inside. The doors were very small, and the screws would not easily fit in.
