Great ice machine
We purchased a Newair ice maker a few weeks ago after it was recommended by a family member. It works great and we have enjoyed a summer of ice cold drinks. I like that it is easy to drain from the bottom when not in use. The only downside is the interior is not refrigerated so the ice starts to melt if left in the basket. Not a huge deal as we empty the basket often and stockpile the ice in a freezer.

Love the ice
Perfect for us. Its fast and I love the smaller ice. Our refrigerator ice maker broke and it cost less to buy this small model New Air than fix my refrigerator ice maker. I use it to fill a bucket in my freezer and when my bucket gets low I make more ice and fill it. When im not using it I clean it and turn it off.

Works great with solar power in a tiny space
I am on solar in a skoolie and this product is a life saver!! Been without ice for months and now that it's getting hot again it is invaluable! Draws about 150 to 200 watts, small enough to fit in a tiny kitchen, and makes ice fast! It is "chewy" ice, so doesn't last forever in drinks but I use a cold thermos and that keeps drinks cold for hours
