The Garmin Forerunner 955 is a lightweight comfortable GPS running smartwatch that provides advanced running dynamics, including ground contact time balance, stride length, vertical ratio and up to 2000 songs music storage. The watch uses wrist-based heart rate to offer performance monitoring features, including evaluating current training status. The Forerunner 955 performance monitoring features include VO2 max and training status with adjustments for heat, altitude acclimation status, training load focus, recovery time, and aerobic and anaerobic training effects. It has a 260 x 260 Pixels sunlight-visible MIP color Display which is housed under Corning® Gorilla® Glass DX.


The Forerunner 955 helps create your own custom workouts on our Garmin Connect™ online fitness community. Safety and tracking features include incident detection (during select activities) and assistance. The Forerunner 955 provides a long battery life up to 15 Days in smartwatch mode and 42 hours in GPS mode without music and Up to 80 hours in Ultratrac mode.
