Carlson Pet Products Carlson Pet Gate 0930 4-inch Extension White

I like this extension. It appears to be an improved design even to the original gate. This extension has a metal channel at the top in addition to the pin which makes it much more rigid and secure than the pin alone which is what they have on the original gate extension. I got the 4 inch extension to add to the original gate extension. If I had it to do over I would get the 12 inch extension and not use the initial extension. If I did that the entire gate would have been stronger. Just think about it if that would work for you before you decide on the size of your extension.
