Fuzzy sock come to mind during the winter season. These socks will definitely keep your feet warm. It's summer time but they were great at night on the balcony on my vacation in Colorado. They do shed a little but not much. I didn't get shedding after washing. They're light and not too heavy. Unlike other similar socks can be, they are on the thinner side. Making them easier to wear with tennis shoes. But the thinness doesn't take away from its performance. Very comfortable. Not too tight on my legs yet not too loose. The color combination (sky blue & grey) and design also makes you think of the cooler months. Good cozy socks!
