reliable ink flow and easy use

I've used Pilot v7 for many years - they point is thick enough that it doesn't gouge through paper, the ink flow is generally nice and consistent, solid reliable pen. If the pen is in an upright pen holder with the point upwards then it can take a few shakes to get the ink flowing when you use it again, that doesn't bother me too much.
