Jon Boat Paint

Watched youtube and decided to try HVLP for Jon boat painting. Selected 1.3 gun. Instructions were clear, gun easy to adjust. I used 24 psi with trigger pulled, sprayed tinted metal primer paint very well. Adjusted spray for 6-8" coverage at ~8" from boat. application was easy, dried to good finish.

excellent gun for the price

I bought this gun to do some wood finishing on wood window trim. The tip size was perfect to spray minwax stain and polyurethane without any thinnng and went on smooth and uniform. With the supplied tools, it is easy to break down for cleaning. The directions are translated from Chinese and are a little hard to understand, but if you have used one before, you wont have any trouble. The air gauge that comes with it works very well also. Just make sure you give it a good cleaning before the first use, because is it covered in light coat of oil inside and out.
