Reese Towpower Wheel Bearing Kit, Model #7034600

Had just what i needed.

I spent hours trying to research why this 1" wheel bearing was too big for my 1" trailer spindle. Ultimately what I discovered was that the product package is incorrectly labeled. The inner diameter of the bearing in this package is 1-1/6" not 1" as the package is marked. The correct Reese manufacturer product number for the 1" bearing is 72791. The bearing sold through Walmart (and some other retailers) is product number 70346, which is labeled as 1" but is actually 1-1/16. Interestingly the back label of the package lists a different product number then the front panel. My advice; bring a tape measure with you to the store, open the package and measure the inside diameter of the bearing before buying. It should measure 1" EXACTLY. I found the correct product at Autozone at about the same price. Look for product number 72791 on the FRONT of the package. Hopefully this post will save others from the same aggravation I had with this product.
