My mother-in-law wears these year round. Unfortunately there is a short window these are available. They are warm and comfortable. For someone elderly they are flexible enough and roomy for her to stay independent and put them on herself. I just wish they made the men's sizes in more feminine colors to accommodate bigger women.

Muk Luk makes wonderful cabin socks - both my wife and I purchase and wear them daily around the house. They are warm and toasty - and my wife is almost always cold, except when she has on her Muk Luks and a light sweatshirt in the house. Great cabin socks!

I wear Women's shoe size 8, and love the L/X Muk Luks. I can wear them over thick socks, for even more padding and warmth. Plus, the other socks keep the inside of the Cabin Sock clean.
