i have just received this and have been using for a week or so im running two monitors as well as the security system and computer i am running off solar power and sometimes i trip my main inverter and these items are what i wanted to run for at least one hour i tried this out after it was fully charged i ran about 110 watts for a little over an hour no problem and still had power worked no problems so far

The outlets are very close to each other. Like, almost too close. I had to buy specific single outlet extension cords so I can plug in like my Internet modem and computer without having them block the outlets on it. With the extensions it works great. I unplug it, my whole gaming setup keeps chugging along, I can even mute the beeper until I get things shut down. The power does go out once and awhile at my building, because the landlord refuses to upgrade the power system for 100 years. With this, my game and DVD player chug along uninterrupted like nothing even happened, just a beep letting me know the power briefly went out. Id had problems before with loosing the progress on my game saves this is no longer an issue. Very nice product I definitely recommend it. I hope it lasts as long as the claims say.

Far better than lead battery models and why.

Much lighter than the old lead batteries and with lithium batteries means that the entire 1000VA is usable power vs lead batteries models specifications are only theoretical capacity because the batteries become degraded by deep cycling. Lead batteries life is measured in terms of hundreds of discharge cycles and reduced by deep discharge cycles whereas lithium life is measured in terms of thousands of deep discharge cycles. Lead batteries have remained largely unchanged since they were first introduced in the late 1800s. The lithium batteries are not harmed by deep cycling and the unit output is true sinewave for maximum compatibility with all devices. I don't need the usb connection to shut down my computer but if you need that feature, this unit doesn't have it.
