The Our Gang Collection

This DVD set from Warner Archive contains all 52 classic Our Gang shorts from 1938-1944, known as the MGM talkies. While they aren't the classic 80 Hal Roach sound shorts that people know and love, there are still some laughs and entertainment to be found in this set. The MGM era introduced 3 new Rascals: Mickey (Robert Blake), Janet (Janet Burston) and Froggy (Billy Laughlin). Of the 3, Froggy was definitely the most memorable. All 52 shorts are uncut and in great quality for the time. While a Blu-ray release would be nice, this DVD set will more than suffice. No Little Rascals collection is complete without this one, and Walmart's price is easily the best out there. Very satisfied with this one...
