I needed something large enough for our foyer to handle the incoming snowy, wet boots and shoes that was also washable. This has been great! It moves around a little so I anchor it underneath a chair that is in my foyer. It came folded and the folds are slowly flattening out. The colors are very muted which is what I was hoping for. The background is a dark charcoal almost black and the print colors are very very muted, dusty light pastels of taupe, blues, spring green, lavenders. If you are hoping for something bright, this is not it. But probably works as a subtle background for lots of different decors.
