Not only do they break or loosen up over time but you need a special pliers to remove them. The Scrambler 850/1000 side panels are held on with these plastic rivets, what are you to do if you have an engine issue out on the trail and you dont have tools to remove them? Who wants to grab special pliers to remove the side panels every time you wash it? We are problem solvers here at Quad Logic and like to make your life easier. We developed this super trick Dzus fastener kit to easily remove your side panels without tools! They are also much stronger and will not break like the plastic rivets. After some simple installation, all it takes is a quarter turn of the fasteners and the side panel can be removed or installed. Dont worry about dropping or losing any hardware either, it all stays attached to the side panels! This kit includes everything you need to install it on both side panels including instructions.
