I use this in a cage pattern lamp shade so picking a lightbulb that was aesthetic was part of what I was looking for...this checks that box for sure! I love the accompanying smart light app, I can choose to use warm or white light and adjust brightness as desired. Undeniably more expensive than your standard bulk pack bulbs but I feel this has been well worth the money :) (Unable to comment on longevity as I've only had it for a couple weeks)
