Ridgid 345 Screw Type Flaring Tool

I needed a high quality flaring tool for install of Ductless mini-split heating/cooling system. I looked around at all the major brands and even some of the generic brands. Quite a range in quality and pricing. Could have purchased another tool that may have done the job for half the price of the Ridgid No. 345 Flaring tool but decided to bite the bullet and go for the best. Have done several flared tubings and it works fantastic! Very easy to use. The cone basically self-centers in the tubing and then you just tighten the flaring tool onto the tube block and after a few cranks of the lever out comes the perfect flare connection.
