This Porter Cable drill is a really solid drill. I was a bit skeptical at first because it's not one of the name brands that I'm used to, but it definitely held up well upon review. The drill is lightweight, but still feels relatively dense in your hand and doesn't feel flimsy. It's not the most heavy duty drill in the world, but should get most jobs done. Obviously, having a wireless drill is key and this one fits the bill. You can remove the bottom battery and recharge it separately, and the charger is small and unobtrusive. You can adjust the RPM of the drill and I didn't notice any problems drilling through wood. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this drill for normal house maintenance -- if you're a contractor, I'd probably look for something more heavy duty. my very own drill

WE are in the middle of a few major home renovations and I love having my own drill. As we go about renovating my parents old craftsman house, I can work in really tight spaces and don't have to worry about a drill cord. The best thing ever is cordless!

Awesome All-Purpose Drill

This is a really great all-purpose drill that is very handy to have around the house! Using it is easy enough for a beginner, but it also has capabilities that any level of skill can appreciate it. Battery lasts a while and also love how compact it is! Would recommend! I am a Walmart associate writing this review as part of a contest.
