out of the box it is set up for 3/4 stock

Can be Very tedious to set up there is no chart for the shims, and the shims are not marked. Out of the box it is set up for 3/4 stock. If you are going to set it up for a different thickness, I highly recommend you use a micrometer and measure every shim and make a diagram of where they go to return it back to 3/4 stock. If changing thickness, I would suggest making a diagram of it for later use.
