I tend to misplace my remote on occasion and it is frustrating if you want to change channels. This remote is identical to mine and all that was needed was two AAA batteries. Put the batteries in and it worked perfectly without any setting issues etc.

Sturdy Remote

This remote is way more sturdy than the one my TV came with. I have a child who is autistic and always dropping the remote. When this one has fell, no battery comes out…with the other one, the batteries fell out. The only one drawback about this remote is that it doesn't come with the voice command. But I will take the sturdiness over that!
