DonJoy POD Ankle Brace S/Right

My husband came down with foot drop and and his PCP recommend this brand. Looked all over the internet and Amazon and Walmart was the only one that had the size he needed. The presentation of the packaging gave me the feeling that's this was either a return or even one that someone may had tried on and maybe returned. But my husband tried with socks on and for the first time in almost 5months he was able to walk normally and he didn't want to wait longer by having to ship it back and wait another week. He didn't want the lace up bulky braces so he is really happy with it. But at the same time quality control is huge for us, and the box shouldn't had been shipped the way it came in. We feel like the brace should had been packaged in a plastic bag or something, it was just the brace by itself in a ripped box. So for that reason we're give it a 3 star rating.
