The assembly was as expected when buying furniture online. It had the EXACT number of parts, so I didn't have a pile of extras to throw away. It took me about 1 hr to assemble. The outside is a hard laminate, so it is durable. i won't have to worry about the drawers being bent in, like on my old metal one. I really like it.

Slight defect, but fixable
The lateral file cabinet looks and feels better in person than in the picture. Unfortunately, a defective rail on the inside of the cabinet hindered my plans to set it up in my office. That said, I'm working with Walmart on a resolution/replacement to get another one sent to me—fingers crossed, it's still in stock. (Also, Sauder Customer Service no longer holds the warranty on this item, so you may consider buying the product protection offered by Walmart.)
