Did not work.

The shield was a tad bit wider than my side garage door seal but I used it anyway In an attempt to keep out mice. You can see the edge of the seal from outside the garage. When I closed the garage door The first time after inserting the shield, the descending door bent the metal on the top of the guard. So now when I open and close the garage door, it tears up the rubber bottom seal on the garage door. And, despite the shield, I am still getting mice In the garage. I am going to remove the guards today and I am really disappointed. Its a great idea but just did not work.
