FJ Cruiser Install Update
It's essential to get the rotation of the bulb correctly set before aiming. The left side of the pattern is perfect for not blinding oncoming drivers (if aimed correctly), but the right side has scatter, and it's angled and quite high, making roadside signs pop.The left side to the middle is what's important for aiming. For most cars, this is two inches below the distance between the ground and the dimple on the light housing @ 25ft from a vertical wall.Set the rotation first, then aim at 25ft, paying attention to the obvious horizontal line L to the middle, and you'll be dialed in.

Y19s ftw in my FJ Cruiser!
Had a Q16 die just outside warranty, so I opted for these. Impressed!Highly recommend checking the vertical aim after installing. Mine were crazy high; the low beams were blinding everyone, and the high beams were shooting into space.I linked the vid I used to set up the re-aim. So simple and effective, and the other drivers on the road will appreciate you.Oh, and also check the orientation of the lights to make sure the cutoff is level. Both mine needed minor tweaking (rotation) to get a flat cutoff that I could then dial in as per the vid.that the bulb allows you to do that.
