Heavyweight

First of all they are very nice heavyweight dishes. I expect that they will hold up very well. They hold a lot and there is a slight upward curve toward the edge making them a little deeper than usual so gravies and sauces stay on the plate. Some of the colors are a little odd but I've gotten used to them. They stack nicely in the dishwasher. They were very well packed. Unfortunately, like many dinnerware sets today, they don't come with cups/mugs and given the variety of colors it is very difficult to get anything to match. I wish that the manufacturers would at least offer the option of buying matching mugs. Bottom line, I think this is a durable, quality product and would buy it again.
