F700GS

I have 10 000km on the Anakee 3 on the F700GS. 80%road 20% gravel and dirt. Love it for the street. Confidence inspiring and predictable through the whole lean angle. Quiet and no vibration. Handles rain very well...never hydro-planed. Gravel and dirt performance is adequate for this type of tire. Also pleased with how long wearing this tire is.

Miracle Tires

I've been using these tires for almost 5 years now- They are that good. I'm approaching 600,000 miles on two wheels this year and have worked at dealerships as well as owning my own shop. The sipes on these tires are unique- they really clean themselves out due to the opening angles molded in, and which don't "go away" as the tire wears. The compound does not require warming up and has no problems in wet or cool conditions (I ride year-round unless there is ice on the pavement). The profile is near-perfect, I am able to utilize the entire width of the tires and the grip on pavement is outstanding- I've been chased by sportbikes while riding two-up. I have been getting 11,000 miles out of the rears before they begin to show a flat spot; the fronts develop the characteristic 'wedge' shape at about the same time so they are well matched in use (I push the front end on my bikes, instead of hanging the rear out). Adding pictures of the rear tire right after riding through a patch of wet mud to show how the tires are already cleaning themselves out- amazing! Some reviews state they don't work well in sand, but few tires other than dedicated knobbies handle sand.

Crazy mileage and decent off-road

I have a 2007 Vstrom 650 and was able to get 20,000km's out of a set of these tires. Mostly road and mostly twisties as I use it as a daily commuter all summer. I swapped to Shinko's and all my confidence when cornering went away. The Michelin's are amazing on cold mornings and the wear make them worth every penny.
