[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE™ Sweater - by modern moments™ The sweater is knit olive green with a gray monster print and the yellow-orange text, “I'll EAT YOU UP” stitched into the body of the monster. The sweater is 50% viscose, 30% polyester, and 20% nylon. It feels quite soft, and in my experience, having a bit of nylon improves its durability. Time will tell how durable really is after some time at the playground. It is ribbed at the neck, waist, and wrists for stretchiness. It is also reinforced at the neck. The thickness is nice - not so heavy that it would be cumbersome to wear, but plush enough and soft enough that it would provide a comfortable layer of warmth. Care instructions: Recommended is cold water wash, wash inside out, tumble dry low. The care instructions are easy. Regardless of the instructions, I prefer to air dry sweaters to make it look nicer for longer, and this sweater dried really quickly. Also useful to know if your kid spills drinks on themselves- it will dry fast! This is a really cute sweater. My son is at the age where he wants to be picky and not wear all of the things, and he likes this because of the design. Sizing : I intentionally ordered this sweater oversized so he doesn't outgrow it in a season and so it will last for some time. The child pictured is age 2 and 30 lbs. He normally wears clothes that are size 2 or 3. The sweater as pictured is a size 4T. As expected, it is a bit roomy but it looks comparable to the size 4 items he already has.
