Yes, I would have liked to have found this at a better price. In fact, I ordered 2 others before I returned them because they were more economical. But in the end, I ordered this one because it was longer than others (I use a folding banquet table as a desk). It costs more, but once again, sometimes you get what you pay for. My chair kept sinking into my new chair mat ordered from Staples. Unfortunately, it wasn't installed until after the return window had passed, so I am stuck with a $70 shiny mat that is NOT worth $1 IMO. However, this one fits the bill. I am a little heavy and my chair, thus far, has glided across the mat without issue. I cannot attest to the durability since I have only had it installed for a couple of weeks. But according to the other reviews, it should not be an issue. It did alarm me when it came rolled up in a box. But is laid completely flat right out of the box. The little claw things stick into my Berber carpet fine and have not slid once. It is a much-needed piece of equipment for my office.

I purchased a Floortex Cleartex Polycarbonate Ultimat in 2014 after reading reviews for a mat to use on my hardwood floor. I did not want a mat that would actually stick to the floor and by placing it under the edge of the desk, there was no danger of the mat slipping an causing a fall. I have been completely satisfied so when I setup another room with desks, I searched for this product. Hayneedle offered the sizes that I needed at a good price. I recently received two new mats. I received them earlier than the promised delivery date. The larger mat came rolled and immediately went flat once I placed it on the floor and moved the edge under the desk. I am delighted with this product and with the service from Hayneedle.
