The ink lasts quite a while over other brands. I know this from office work for over 10 years. The grip is solid. It does bleed if using most thinner paper products and always should use a couple sheets underneath. It's hard to find a permanent marker that doesn't. I always love the classic snap of a sharpie cap. It's iconic.
