Replaced an old Brookstone that finally quit after years of use. This cleaner has preset timer. Just press the button to the amount of time you need. Has little basket that drops into the tub. The badket has open sides so be careful pulling it out. The jewelry may fall out. Has removable chord from the machine, so it can be removed and stored inside the tub. No wrapping a loose chord. Cleans very good.
