strong and stable

I wanted a drafting table, with the caveat that it could hold a laptop. This unit not only holds a laptop but has a 3rd shelf up above. The drafting portion might not be large enough (20x32) for a real drafter, but for me it's perfect, as I mostly draw on to 8.5 x 11.
