Most exquisite knife I've ever owned

This knife is far and away the best knife I've owned. After countless hours scouring the internet for different brands and knives, I'm immensely satisfied with this knife. It is not only effortlessly sharp but it is gorgeous. The Tsuchime finish is an eye-magnet and helps moderately with food sticking. The tip is indeed sharp prominent enough for most tip work. One, final anecdote: I couldn't find my bread knife and I was getting desperate so I used this knife to try slicing a farmer's market sourdough loaf. To my shock, this worked better than any bread knife I've owned and sliced right through. I couldn't believe it as usually, dense bread needs serration and flat edge blades fail. As

Dream knife

I love this knife. As a professional chef for 28 years, I've used everything from dollar garbage knives to handcrafted wustof and this is the best knife I've ever used. It's light, fits prefect in the hand, responds deftly to every movement like a razor sharp extension of the fingers. And it's razor sharp too. I will definitely be using professional sharpening services to maintain the edge as well as regular honing and this will be my treasured personal knife for the rest of my life that no one is allowed to do more than admire from a respectful distance. The balance is perfect, and the hammered sides release food well. Easy to clean too, just take care not to shred the cloth you clean it with!

easy to hold and use

lovely to look at, easy to hold. This ultra sharp knife makes kitchen prep work a breeze. Worthwhile having one of the Zwilling cut resistant gloves on when using.
