MukLuks Women's Over The Knee Socks, 2-Pairs

These over the knee-high socks are what I have literally been searching for years to find. I am always cold here in the North East from fall until Spring. I always like to have long socks on under my pants for extra warmth. I swear having your lower legs covered makes such a huge difference in feeling warm. I guess it makes sense since our sweaters and jackets only cover the upper part of our body, and our lower legs get left out in the cold. Anyway, like I mentioned I have been searching for the perfect knee high for years. Either they would be too tight around the calf and cut off my circulation or they would be too loose and creep down my calf all day long. In the later scenario I would be grabbing them all day and trying to wiggle them up under my jeans. What a pain. The too tight variety of course can be painful and leave an ugly red line on your leg. Not to mention that it probably is unhealthy to have something that tight on for hours every day. I think you can tell where I am going with this. These MukLuks are the perfect solution to both of those problems. I am not sure what magic they are doing because they are so soft and not tight feeling, but they still stay in place all day. Joking aside I think that the key is that they make the band near the top of the sock with the tighter more elastic material wider than other brands and this disperses the pressure behind the knee. It is just amazing how it is not binding in anyway but stays up. I know it sounds dramatic but those of you who have been searching for the perfect pair know what I mean! I was worried because the top edge looks a bit loose that it would unravel but with quite a few washings they are still perfect. They are also super soft which is a bonus. I can't tolerate itchy socks at all, and these are the complete opposite. So silky and comfortable. I will be ordering a dozen pairs at least to get me through the cold winter months that are approaching. I am hoping that there are more colors that will be coming out in these in the future. I forgot to mention that when I was removing the packaging, I noticed that the socks were made from recycled plastic which is super cool!

I like the design and pattern of this socks. The package has 2 pairs black and charcoal in color. I think that they can snag easily but they are super soft, eassy to wash, I'm air drying them just to be safe. Im 5'6", 125 lb, my legs aren't skinny or fat but they can only reach just to my knees (not over the knees like in the picture). Overall I'm glad that I have them.
