The superlative coffeemaker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best coffeemaker we've ever owned, and we've had quite a few. It seems KitchenAid covered every possible angle with this unit. What surprised me most is how the carafe mouth is designed. It pours in a smooth stream without frothing or aerating the coffee! So it stays fresh longer. I have never seen that before. But it's all very impressive - especially the drip head. Your engineers really outdid themselves with that. A small burst of hot water lands perfectly in the center, while a larger burst gets evenly distributed wider among the grounds, yet still centered. It's ingenious - the grounds don't get bypassed at all, and the brewing happens orderly. Our previous maker which was also a KitchenAid lasted about a decade of twice daily use. This one seems at least as well made, and is far better designed. As a bonus, the design is very elegant; I consider it beautiful. Hats off to KitchenAid on this unit. You hit an absolute home run!

I like the size and style of the product. However, the the silver coating started to peel off after just a few days. I contacted kitchen aid with information they requested (receipt and photo) but haven't heard back. If they don't reply I will return the product. I also don't like the limit if 2hr timer (to keep coffee warm). I am unable to extend it by pressing off and on. I have to add more water to start it again and only then it will keep it worm for another 2 hrs.

Warming plate doesn't work on new coffee maker.
The appliance is perfect for my counter, it makes great coffee and the capacity is great for company. But I already wrote to you to report the warming plate does not work at all. After it worked perfectly just about 3 times, the warming plate stopped working entirely. I wanted the coffee to stay warm for at least an hour after making it, but it doesn't work. Can someone assist me?
