I've been on a tteokbokki kick and have tried many brands from my local Asian grocery store. I didnt have high expectations for this but it turned out to be my favorite. It tastes great and is easy to cook. And, the portions are just right.

Great option if the only tteokbokki near you

While it's nice to see tteokbokki more readily available, I didn't enjoy this as much as the shelf stable options. For the same price and quality, the shelf stable options you can find at World Market and other places are a better bang for your buck. I initially thought this was a good price as I thought it was a larger bag of the rice cakes like you can find at H Mart and similar stores. This is a great option if it's the only tteokbokki near you for purchase.

tteokbokki is one of my fav korean dishes. if you've had it homemade this doesn't compare. it's too watery and the taste is off. it is spicy. and the tteok is too mushy imo. for the price i wouldn't get again
