My rug measures 2'3" X 7'7". It may not be ideal if purchasing for an area where length is critical. It is heavy enough that it moves very little without a pad. We needed a solid color rug. The texture keeps it from being plain, but my vacuum doesn't do a great job with it. Has not shed and is holding up well to our pets.
