Truform Stockings, Thigh High, Closed Toe, Dot Top: 20-30 mmHg, Black, Medium

I love Truform compression socks! They do a wonderful job of reducing swelling while still being comfortable. I love that the toes are left loose! And even tho these aren't the highest level of compression, they compress a lot! They can be a bit difficult to put on, but the lack of stretch is what allows this product to compress. It does come with instructions on how to put it on, but I highly recommend not following that as I found it practically impossible to put on that way. Instead, I recommend putting it on like this: I'll bunch up only about the top half and then insert my foot as much as possible, then use my fingers to pull up on and tug the fabric on/near my foot until it's completely in. (Don't be afraid of tearing the fabric- it's quite strong). I'll also pull the top of the sock down (as if I'm turning it inside out/pulling it off) to get rid of the excess fabric so I'm able to pull up the socks with more ease. So a common complaint I see in reviews is the socks are too small, but I believe these users are getting the wrong size. DO NOT go by your shoe or typical sock size. You have to go by Truform's sizing chart which they include in the pictures and on the packaging. Normally I would pick size small but the chart says I'm a size medium, so that's what I picked and my stockings fit me perfectly! And keep in mind, it SHOULD be substantially more difficult to put on compression socks than regular socks. It should take some elbow grease and at least a few minutes. I've washed them several times and they haven't lost their effectiveness. Highly recommended!
