I was honestly surprised by LMNT. Before trying it, I read a lot of reviews saying it was "too salty," so I expected to have to force myself to drink it. That wasn't my experience at all. I liked the taste from the very first sip. I appreciate that it isn't overly sweet like many sports drinks. The flavors taste clean and refreshing, and the saltiness actually makes sense once you know it's replacing electrolytes instead of trying to taste like candy. It leaves me feeling hydrated without the sugary aftertaste. One thing I especially like is the ingredient list. There's no sugar, no artificial colors, and it contains a meaningful amount of sodium, potassium, and magnesium. For anyone who exercises regularly, spends time in the heat, follows a low-carb diet, or simply sweats a lot, it can be a great way to replace electrolytes. Should you drink it every day? It depends on your needs. If you're active, work outdoors, live in a hot climate, or lose a lot of sweat, having one packet a day may be very appropriate. However, LMNT contains 1,000 mg of sodium per packet, so it's not something everyone automatically needs every day. If you already eat a high-sodium diet and don't lose many electrolytes through exercise or heat, drinking it daily may not provide much benefit.

Very salty, but effective TRUE hydration

I like the convenience of these cans. I keep them in my truck fridge and have one when I want something other than water. The lemonade flavor is fake tasting but the convenience is awesome. I think other flavors would be better. NOTE: these are for TRUE hydration not for great taste. They are NOT sweet, very salty as they clearly state. However, if you're still thirsty after drinking 16-24 oz of water, these are the magic solution! By cutting out drinks with artificial flavorings, my sugar cravings rarely derail me. Rarely experience them. True hydration and reducing artificial flavors has done that for me.

Very salty! which is the point...

If you're looking for something with a sweeter taste, this whole brand is not for you. These are salty but not they dissolve that you dont taste granules. Jist not the usual "commercial" flavor that mainstream hydration products use because theyre looking to attract a wider audience. However, if youre looking to TRULY hydrate correctly, any of these in any flavor will do the trick! Definitely one of the more expensive brands but I dont mind if it works and these do! I love this flavor especially mixed with chilled water! I can hydrate when I use 1 packet per day. Remainder of my day I drink water. Never felt so alert, sugar cravings dampened and overall had something to sweat out on hot days plus recover from long work days so much quicker and more thoroughly as when I am hydrated properly.
