Very good value for the money!

First of all let me say that I have been looking for curtains for my sliding glass door everywhere! These were almost EXACTLY like the ones I feel in love with at Pottery Barn....but theirs were $109 per panel and lined. These from Walmart...look the same but not lined...same color...sky blue. So I bought 4 panels and ordered 2 more...total of 6 panels. I hung them and they did not look right because there were translucent...so I ordered $4 twin flat sheets (from Walmart) and lined them myself....they look perfect. I like my curtains fuller...4 panels would have been ok...but 6 panels looks amazing. Also, I used a steamer to get the wrinkles out....another bargain from Walmart...only $20 and it is hand held! Bottom line....these curtains in sky blue are lovely. However, unlined when the sun comes through turn them (at the time) a different color. I am not a seamstress and it was very easy to take a curtain panel and lay it on the floor and put a sheet over it and cut 2 sides to make it fit. Sew the 2 sides you cut down then I just did a series of knots about every 9 inches to hold the lining in place....afraid if you sewed it to the curtain it would look weird and bunched up. I know this is a long review, but when someone leaves a review that WORKS i really appreciate it. Hope this helps someone like me that has Pottery Barn taste and need to save every penny but dont want to compromise style!

    nice for the price

I ordered the honey color. It's really an orangey gold color. I had a lighter gold curtain and they got ruined and I really liked the color and tried several places to match them. These were the closest I could find and at first-after washing- and in the dryer for about 15 to 20 min. they came out pretty good without having to iron them, so they were growing on me. After I hung them, they looked pretty good, so even though not quite honey colored, they will do nicely.

Not What I Had Hoped For

I ordered these panels in Expresso. First let me say that the curtains are very nice, deep brown color, and quite attractive for a regular curtain. As thermal or room darkening - not at all. They are an open weave and don't keep anything out. So if you just want a 'regular' curtain, I'd say you can't g o wrong. If you want to keep light out, you need to look further than these. I gave them an overall good rating because they are nice for the price. But I had to send mine back.
