Purchased Ozark Trail GS-X Spinning Combo, 7' Medium Heavy Fishing Rod, 40 Size Reel. Very Nice! Arrived in 2 days. Well made reel. Quality SS screws, no twist or flex, strong reinforced stand. Handle is reversible %26 when fully tightened there's no play. Tightening knob is gasketed %26 under the aluminum spool the reel is sealed, both preventing water intrusion. Drag is smooth, strong %26 allows for fine adjustment. Soft grip handle knob is HQ. Anti-reverse is instant. 5.2:1 balanced retrieve is silky smooth. I spooled it w/20lb braid %26was casting 40g (1.41oz) tube-tail jigs with ease. Rod is 2pc sensitive graphite blank w/appealing textured cross wrap design, all Fuji guides, has cushioned reel seat that tightens from top, comfortable shock absorbing rubber handgrip, rubber butt end %26 has a HQ hook keeper. Rigidity of graphite makes it great for buck-tailing jig heads. Rod %26 reel is lightweight, balanced %26 a pleasure to use. 3 of us caught a lot of fish. Great value combo %26 shipped free!

Great value similar quality as the big boys.
What a great little combo, I know it's a little pricey for a Walmart brand but the quality is right up there with a combo that cost twice as much. This combo is a perfect combo for rainbow trout, crappie or any panfish. I've been fishing for 40 years and have fished extensively in both fresh and saltwater and I really like this ultralight combo and I own four of these now. Be sure and remove the plastic shipping protector at the bend of the knob that attaches to the handle before use. Tight lines!
