NYX Dark Circle Concealer (Color : DCC04 Deep)

I'm of mixed ethnicity (northern European, and Indigenous Canadian and Middle Eastern) so I have very pale skin with really dark circles around my eyes. Finding a concealer that does the job for me is hard, but this one is fantastic! I was sick of buying colour corrector palettes and only using one colour, and this one little pot fixed that! It goes on smooth, and blends nicely. Lasts 8-12 hours easily if you set it with a spray or light powder (I don't even have to bake!). On days when I've had a bad night's sleep, I do have to do two layers but that's fine. That it covers the circles without being cakey or clogging pores or giving me reverse raccoon eyes is what's important!

I normally wear Bobby Brown or NARS concealer and have Makeup Forever and Laura Mercier amoung others in my makeup arsenal. I've just gone on a concealer rampage, determined to find the right product that hides my dark circles, looks natural and does not cake under my eyes. I've gone to Sephora on numerous occasions and have tried everything on the market, including some infamous drugstore brands that are top rated by makeup reviews. Unfortunately, everything I've tried cakes-up and dries out. The products that stay moist look heavy and still cake-up. I bought the NYX Dark Circle Concealer at my drug store and it's amazing because it has oils that keep the product moist. I used a brush to apply the product and then my fingers to press it in and absorb the excess. The result looks natural and light. I just bought a second color to mix and get my perfect shade or I can layer because you can easily build-up the product because it's so light. Another great job NYX.
