Athletic Works Men's Tri Blend Active Shorts, 3-Pack, Sizes XS-5XL

I bought size XS at first based on my son's waist size in jeans and they were too small. He could get them on, but they were uncomfortably tight. My waist is a bit smaller than his so , even though I'm his Mom and these are men's shorts, I tried them on hoping to avoid going to the store to return them, but I had the same problem. I returned those and got the size small. I decided after I got home to go ahead and try those on myself, and I loved them so much that I kept them. Now I'm going to have to order another set for my son. I have 2 pairs of the ladies bermuda shorts that are similar in length to these, but I like these better. I love that the drawstring is on the inside of the shorts because there is no bulge showing through your t-shirt right at your belly from the string, and I love that there is real wide-band of good elastic in the waistband, so that they will stay up even if you choose NOT to tie the drawstring. Last but not least, you can save $2 a pair by buying these in a 3-pack which is not available (at least not at the moment) in the ladies bermuda shorts version. They are truly generic enough to look gender non-specific (my son likes them too). That being said, I have bigger thighs than hips so these may not be as fit friendly for more curvy ladies, but if the boyfriend style of jeans works for you, ladies, I would highly recommend these for men and women alike. In fact, I may have to double my order when I order for my son and get them in the other colors for myself.
