The material is thick and not see through. The pockets are a great size. It's frustrating when some scrub pockets can't fit a standard size pen laying flat. I've gained weight so I know the quality of this scrub top. While I have not washed up this new size, I have had the smaller size for years and the colors don't fade easily when washed properly. I love the neckline and the detail that it has. I wash my scrubs separately from everything else and it washes up nicely, no fabric pilling. I own multiple HQ scrubs and will continue to buy this brand based on the quality and price.
