Like many Luverne steps and running boards, the O-Mega II Black Wheel to Wheel Running Boards are made to work hard and to do it with style. They are constructed from strong, lightweight, rust-free aluminum, and to truly make them a step up from the rest, we shield them in a highly durable black powder coat finish. This ensures maximum corrosion resistance and excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. The O-Mega II Black Wheel to Wheel Running Boards are also made to provide safe, comfortable entry and exit from your vehicle, as well as the convenience of bed access. They feature tough aluminum step pads with protruded circular treads that will never wear or crack. The step pads offer a non-skid surface, and they are finished with a textured black powder coat for lasting corrosion resistance. Also unique to our O-Mega II step pads is their customizable positioning. Ford F-250 SD Crew Cab
Great sturdy product that gives the extended coverage not found elsewhere. Aggressive looking, yet classy and not overwhelming. Note: You will need to be able to lossen the bolt/nut of the front shackle of the rear leaf springs. Either have some big wrenches/sockets in your garage, or pay a few bucks at your local auto shop. Overall: Super happy and highly recommend!

Great look, but….
I really like the versatility of these running boards. There is a lot of ability to adjust and make them sit exactly where you want. The step pads are also nicely aggressive and plant your foot well. But that's about where the good things end. There are really only two complaints. One, the hardware that you are supposed to attach the step pads with is kinda chincy. I understand that there are five screws per step but they are small and not stainless. Two, the “caps” on each end of the running boards are plastic. I know they will never corrode but for almost $800 I would have expected an aluminum cap. All in all, good but they missed the mark on some of the small details that some people might not even care about. But it's the small details that matter to most of us.
